• Quickly know the opinion of our partner medical team on the feasibility of the details of the necessary treatments that you have requested.
• Know how much it costs by receiving a personalized quote, before your departure.

Step 1 : Complete your quote request form for medical stay.

We can provide you with a cost estimate for your medical stay.

To do this, all you have to do is complete our quote request form which contains 3 sections:

• Your request: Your contacts and the treatments you need
• Your medical history (and or copies of your tests and medical report) which will allow our medical team to properly assess your state of health.
• Information about your stay: The dates and period you plan for your medical stay, your companions, etc.

Completing a quote request automatically opens an account for you on our platform, thanks to this account you can follow all the steps of your request, see the surgeon’s response, see your detailed quote, contact your Medikadvisor advisor and see all the necessary information to organize your stay. You can also communicate with your advisor by phone or email she will provide you with all the information in order to organize your medical stay in Tunisia as soon as possible.

Step 2 : You receive the response from our medical team with a personalized and detailed quote.

After receiving your request, it will be sent to one of our partner surgeons depending on the specialty requested.

You will then receive the response from our surgeon with his opinion for your case.

This response will be accompanied by a detailed quote, depending on your specific case, for an all-inclusive stay (Operation, clinic, surgeon, medication, hotel and transfers)

This quote will be clear and without hidden costs in order to allow you to manage your budget.

Step 3 : Our advisor will accompany you with all the informations you need to organize your medical stay.

Our advisers will be there to answer all your questions. You can have a teleconsultation with a specialist doctor if necessary.

The Medikadvisor team can also assist you with the administrative procedures to obtain your visa quickly.

Step 4 : Booking your medical stay.

Once decided and your arrival date fixed, you can confirm your dates in your customer area on Medikadvisor or by contacting your advisor by phone or email.

Your advisor will confirm the dates depending on the availability of the medical team and its schedule.

After confirming your arrival and return dates with your advisor, you can purchase your plane ticket and inform your advisor of the Flight number.

Once your flight details have been received, your advisor will send a detailed schedule of your medical stay in Tunisia.

From this stage your date will be fixed on the schedule and all reservations for your stay will be made (Hotel, surgeon, clinic and other specialists).

Step 5 : Your arrival and the progress of your medical stay.

Arrival at the airport

You will be greeted by your Medical Resident Advisor who will speak your language perfectly, she will be there to explain and accompany you throughout your medical stay.

Your driver will be there to bring you either to the clinic or to the hotel depending on the organization of your stay.

Clinic and surgery

At the clinic, before your surgery, your surgeon will carry out a careful and in-depth preoperative consultation with you to assess your physical health. An anesthetist will also assess your state of health on the basis of your tests and check-ups.

The anesthetist or specialist can ask for additional analyzes or explorations, on site, in order to specify their diagnoses and decide on your treatment protocol.

At the end of your preoperative consultation, a “consent” document will be provided to you so that you can fill it out and sign.

Subsequently and after having validated all the details with your surgeon, you must pay your invoice.

Payment can be made by:

• Online payment on your customer area
• Transfer (In this case, payment must be made at least 48 hours before the operation)
• Certified bank checks
• Cash.

Your Medikadvisor advisor will be there and will accompany you along this journey, she will assist you in all details and provide you with the necessary information.

After validating all the details with your surgeon, signing your consent and paying your bill, the nurses will take you to receive your care and treatment or to the operating room to undergo your surgery.

Convalescence and visit

Your Medikavisor advisor will accompany you along this route and she will be there to organize your discharge from the clinic and departure to your hotel.

She will assist you during this period of convalescence at the hotel or in an apartment and will organize the postoperative consultation visit with your surgeon as well as all the necessary care for you.

Departure

After confirming your departure flight schedule with you, a driver from our transfer team will come to the hotel or your accommodation apartment to accompany you to the airport.

Step 6 : The follow-up after your return home.

After your return, our advisor will be available to answer your questions and coordinate the follow-up of your recovery with your surgeon. You will be asked to send us your photos after one, three and six months so that your surgeon can assess and monitor your recovery.
